Fees for Therapeutic Services at Mind Body Well
psychological counselling
Session duration - 50 minutes maximum
Full fee - $265
Surcharge - An additional $25 surcharge is added for weekday appointments commencing from 5pm onward
Concession fee - We offer concession rates to a limited number of clients per month. These concession rates are only available to Heath Care Card Holders, and only when we have not reached our current concession quota. Concession rates for Psychology sessions are $215 per session, and are available for appointments during business hours only.
dietetic therapy
Session duration - 50 minutes maximum
Full fee - $220

Concession fee - We offer concession rates to a limited number of clients per month. These concession rates are only available to Heath Care Card Holders, and only when we have not reached our current concession quota. Concession rates for Dietitian sessions are $180 per session, and are available for appointments during business hours only.
professional supervision
Session duration - 50 minutes maximum
Supervision for Psychologists / Clinical Psychologists - $270 (incl GST)
Supervision for Dietitians - $225 (incl GST)
Late cancellation fees
cancellations with more than 48 hours notice - no fee
cancellations between 24-48 hours notice - charged at 50% of the usual session fee
cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (and non-attended appointments) - charged at the full session fee
All fees will be charged to your nominated Credit Card on the day of your appointment (or the following morning in the case of late afternoon appointments). Successful payment is required in order to confirm future appointment bookings.
MEDICARE REBATES
In order to claim a Medicare rebate for part of your session fee we will require your referral and eligible care plan from your Doctor (Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan, Eating Disorder Management Plan, or Enhanced Primary Care Plan). Please arrange for this to be emailed or faxed to our office prior to your initial session, or as soon as possible after receiving it. Claimable receipts cannot be issued for sessions which occurred prior to us receiving your plan.
If you would like us to process your Medicare rebates directly for you at the time of billing, please ensure you complete our Medicare Claiming Form.
PLEASE NOTE - We are NOT a bulk billing service, an out of pocket fee will apply.
Private health insurance rebates
We do not process private health insurance claims, you will be provided with the receipt required to enable you to make your claim. Please note you cannot claim from both Medicare and your private health insurance for the same session.
