Genevieve is a Provisional Psychologist who brings a broad base of education and practical experience to her work, along with warmth and genuine care for each individual she supports. As a Provisional Psychologist Genevieve works under the supervision of the Senior Psychologists on our team, who she consults with on a regular basis to support her client care. (Genevieve provides services in our Low Cost Counselling Clinic, and as a Provisional Psychologist, her sessions are not eligible for Medicare rebates).

Genevieve has significant training in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also valuing deeper, emotion-focused work that honours the complexity of lived experiences. Genevieve is particularly attuned to mental health issues around body image, eating disorders, anxiety and stress, relationships and intimacy, and prioritises creating a safe, respectful space for bodies of all sizes.

Genevieve works supportively with adults and adolescents experiencing a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Eating disorders and body image issues
  • Gender diversity, LGBTQIA+ mental health issues
  • Relationships, intimacy and communication difficulties
  • Anxiety, depression and mood difficulties

Genevieve’s approach has a foundation in compassion, inclusion, and respect. She believes every person, no matter their background, body or identity, deserves help, healing, and understanding. She strives to treat each client as worthy, capable and deserving of a safe therapeutic space.

Clients working with Genevieve can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental therapy environment, where their values, identity and experiences are honoured. Her warm presence and thoughtful clinical practice help people navigate difficult emotions, build self-compassion, and gradually find balance, healing and joy.
