Melissa is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, who is deeply passionate about supporting people to find a more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. Her approach is weight inclusive, HAES aligned, trauma informed, neuroaffirming and gender affirming.
Melissa takes a gentle and collaborative approach to nutrition support, and understands that it can sometimes feel challenging to talk about concerns regarding your relationship with food and your body. She works at your pace, and explores nutrition concerns with curiosity and non- judgement.
Melissa is experienced in providing nutrition care for people seeking support for a range of concerns including eating disorders, chronic dieting, health conditions, women’s health, and the nutritional impacts of mental health issues. She understands that people often experience more than one concern with their nutrition, and she supports people in understanding and managing their nutritional needs when multiple conditions and concerns interact.
