Accredited Prasticing Dietitian
Louise Grech is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who takes a compassionate approach to her nutrition counselling. Louise’s main area of interest is helping those with disordered eating behaviours and body concerns get back to a place of balanced nutrition and nourishment.
Louise has experience working with one of Melbourne’s private Eating Disorder programs where she provided dietetic group support for clients across all categories of eating disorders. Her private practise in Melbourne’s west has offered clients a space to heal their relationship with food from a Health At Every Size (HAES®) perspective.
Louise has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology in addition to her bachelor degree in Dietetics, and she understands that making choices around food and eating is about more than just nutrition knowledge.
Louise is a passionate advocate for improving treatment options in the area of Binge Eating Disorder and reducing weight stigma. She takes a non-diet approach to weight concerns and helps to guide her clients away from the vicious diet cycle by incorporating ideas of mindfulness and acceptance.
