Clinical Psychologist

Kate is a highly motivated Psychologist who is committed to providing the highest quality service to her clients. As a Clinical Psychologist Registrar, Kate has a keen interest in the neurobiological underpinnings of Eating Disorders and the ways in which our evolving scientific understanding can strengthen our treatment approaches. Kate seeks to integrate the ever-evolving body of knowledge with a warm and humanistic client-centered approach to therapy. 

Kate believes it is vital that clinicians work in a respectful and collaborative manner with clients, recognising them as experts on their own unique lived experiences.   

Kate has experience working with trauma and is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). In session, she draws on an eclectic range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy,  Psychodynamic Therapy, Schema Therapy, Exposure-based Response Prevention Therapy and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy.
